"We really enjoyed the 2-hour Historical Highlights Walking Tour, and would also have joined the new Sussex Drive-Lowertown Walk if we had more time. The tour was well designed and covered most points of interest in the downtown area within the limited time. We especially enjoyed the historical "fun facts" and stories regarding the making of the city. As first-time visitors to Ottawa, we did not expect the city to have such fascinating history behind the old buildings. Although having walked around the same area the day before the tour, paying $15 for this tour was definitely worth it because we couldn't have learned that much about the city (while enjoying the view) on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, accessible, and humourous. He was also willing to provide recommendations for travelling in Ottawa. Over all we really enjoyed the experience, and think it would act as a great starting point for sightseeing in Ottawa. We will recommend the tour to friends and participate in new tours when coming to this city again in the future."
