Your knowledgeable and passionate guide will lead you on a leisurely walk around Ottawa’s most famous monuments and locations and explain the city’s history, colourful political characters, graceful architecture and places visitors often don’t discover on their own! This tour is the perfect opportunity to get to know Ottawa’s past, present, and future with an entertaining and educational experience. The “Historical Highlights” walking tour is the perfect way to get a great overview of the Canadian capital in only 2 hours.

This guided walk includes stops at:

  • The National War Memorial
  • Sparks Street
  • Major’s Hill Park
  • The Fairmont Chateau Laurier
  • The Bank of Canada
  • The Rideau Canal
