An Unforgettable 5-Course Québécois Feast

(This menu is a sample and may often change based on what’s fresh and in season)

An Aperitif To Start

Begin your evening the way Québecers do — by raising a glass to good company. Choose from a sparkling Kir Royale, a refreshing Ungava Gin & Tonic, a chilled vermouth or simply a nice glass of red or white wine. These classic apéritifs awaken the palate and set a festive tone. (Non-alcoholic beverages are also available)

Potage – Traditional Hearty Soup

A steaming bowl of potage aux legumes ou aux pois, slow-simmered with onions, and aromatic herbs, these silky yet hearty soups have been a comforting staple in French-Canadian kitchens for centuries.

Main Course – Interactive Meat Fondue Or Traditional Tourtière

Gather around bubbling pots of seasoned beef or vegetable broth for a fondue à la viande, (better known in Québec as a Fondue Chinois) with thinly sliced cuts of beef, pork or chicken cooked to perfection at your table. Alternatively, perhaps a traditional tourtière; a warm meat-pie styled dish filled with ground pork, beef, or game, balanced with potatoes and savory herbs. All meals are accompanied with crisp garden salad and warm crusty baguette. This convivial experience is as much about conversation as it is about flavour.

Dessert – The Sweet Taste of Tradition

Finish with a classic tarte au sucre (Québécois sugar pie) made with creamy brown sugar, or maybe a fragrant blueberry crumble topped with buttery streusel. These beloved desserts delivera nostalgic taste of the province’s culinary heritage.

The Digestif

Conclude with a small glass of fortified wine, ice cider, or maple liqueur, paired with a delicate butter cookie. A gentle digestif is the perfect closing note to an evening of authentic flavours.
